[sponsored review] *New* Hada Labo Hydrating 'Light' Lotion

From the brand that brought you the bestselling hydrating lotion in Japan (and now Singapore), Hada Labo introduces a new 'light' hydrating lotion. It's specially formulated for me! Sort of.
  • For oily, combination or acne-prone skin
  • Lighter texture that is non-sticky and refreshing
  • Contains 3 types of Hyaluronic acid with different sizes of molecules to moisturize skin from surface to deep within
  • pH balanced
  • Low irritation with no added fragrance, colors and oil

By lotion, they mean toner, so naturally the texture is more watery. It definitely feels 'lighter' and much less sticky than the one I previously reviewed. I don't seem to smell anything either. Absorption is good, and my skin feels smooth and soft after that. This is really good! I like! (P/s. I'm not saying the rest aren't good; just that this is more suited to my skin type. ^^)

It's available only at Watsons, for $22.90 (170ml). BUT! You can redeem your FREE 1-week supply of Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion here! Redemption starts 29th Oct.

On a side note, Sample Store recently revamped their website and along came new packaging! Samples and stuff now come in a pretty, plastic (rain all you want now), ZIP-LOCK bag! It's reusable and I'm so gonna bring it on my Taiwan trip. No more spilling in my nice nice bag. ^^v

Can't believe it's 2 days to our ROM! And 2.5 days to our Taiwan trip! Stressed about the former, excited about the latter. Hope everything turns out right!

Dinner at Watami's + Popo's first swimming session

開工大吉! I seem to have that all the time LOL. Nevertheless, we went for a expensive hearty dinner to 'celebrate' my first day of work. Ended up at Watami and we got the special set for 2 ($59). Came with 2 drinks too!

Love the sashimi, salad and nabe. Fries were okay. Soba was mehh. Total bill came up to $70+. @_@ Extravagant, but I guess it's okay once in a while. =\

And last Saturday I brought popo for swimming at Pets Arena! They charge by the hour, which honestly I find it's super expensive because popo barely swam 10 minutes. She got no stamina lah! Quite sad. =(

At first we wore the little life jacket for her but she was struggling hard in the water. After we removed it, she started swimming! I was quite apprehensive about it initially but it was such a delight to see her swimming so cutely behind me! So natural for a first-timer! I kept squealing and laughing! XD I have a little video on my instagram as well as the full 5+ min video of her first swim. Ahhh I feel like a proud mother. LOL.

Did teeth scaling for her as well cos the vet didn't do a good job the other time. Broke die me. T_T

Hello October.

We're 26 days away from our ROM omg! XD

It's gonna be a busy busy month, because it's my birthday! LOL! Just kidding. Busy because we still have some final details not done, and a dinner session with both our parents, the food tasting session, my makeup trial, some shopping for the trip, my manicure session, Popo's grooming session, my weekly facials, and all with me rushing to prepare for 2 events at work! So much to do, so little time. Blame myself for procrastinating. @_@

But anyway, I just wanted to express my delight at receiving our photoshoot pics yesterday. There were hits and misses of course, but with it being my first "professional" shoot, I would say I'm pretty pleased with the results! Even more so after my PP-ing. Though I'm tempted to share them here, I suppose I should let the guests have the privilege of seeing them first lol.

Speaking of which, if any of my guests are reading this, ONLY COMPLIMENTS OKAY? If you think I'm fat or something, don't tell me k? XD
