dragon nest sea

3rd day of playing dragon nest sea after bro intro-ed it to me. it's slightly different from the usual mmorp games that i play cos ... it's FIRST PERSON SHOOTER! lols. i usually don't play fps cos my aiming cmi one. but this one is fun.

it's gender locked, but luckily my archer is a female. there are 3 other main classes - cleric (male), warrior (male) and sorceress (female). tell you something weird. the 2nd job of cleric can act as a tanker, and has higher defense and health than a warrior. now that's something different from usual rpgs right? lols.

since it's a fps, it means there's no target lock and it's a little less boring than just standing there and shooting. you get to jump and roll and dodge around! a little confusing and hard to play (cos my fingers are kinda stiff), but i'm getting the hang of it slowly. it makes me happy when i complete a dungeon run without using any pots and hp bar 90% full. ^^

the best part? when i leveled up, they gave me some cash clothes to wear for 7days, which are super pretty sexy! i likes!

*drools*

the sad thing is, i have to press the keys to use the skills instead of clicking them on the bar. and considering how slow my hand-eye coordination is, i usually just spam-press the buttons without actually planning the skills. facepalm. lol.

oh wells. off to bed now. looking forward to meeting ex-kolics soon cos i miss them soooo much! =)

又是不肥~

i'm gonna skip the night safari post for now because SSD takes FOREVER just to send a few photos to me. hrmph.

have been eating a lot these few days. seems like i'm trying to make up for the past 8 months of spaghetti and fish soup meals. last weekend (12/02), we had international buffet at ellenborough market cafe (swissotel). the food variety was pretty limited, especially my favorite salad bar. =(

but i especially liked their fresh prawns, zaru soba, salmon sashimi, and the black pepper crayfish. love wall-e's photos so must enlarge big big. lmao.

150212 - wednesday

160212 - thursday

i wouldn't recommend this bishan branch because i feel the quality of food isn't as good as city link or esplanade. for one, the tomyum soup wasn't exactly very spicy, and my mushroom side dish tasted horrible. boo.

170212 - friday

SSD found this nonya / peranakan restaurant tucked away at the basement somewhere in the cbd area - straits chinese. it was more crowded that what i thought it would be, and the entire restaurant smelt so spicy. @_@

the buffet menu was horribly limited; i was craving for sambal sotong but DON'T HAVE! the menu was also not in english, which made ordering difficult. so we decided to just have one serving of every item. lol. thankfully the 老闆娘 offered to help us order some 招牌菜 instead.

the appetizer was nice, too bad only can order once. the prawns, curry veggies, and otah were not bad too. the assam fish was super worth it. lols. in total, the four of us ate 11 dishes plus dessert!! (ok make that 13 because i ordered the prawns and otah twice. =p) overall, the food was not too bad, but i definitely won't drop by again. especially when the 1-for-1 promotion ends next month.

i need more nice and value-for-money buffet places with salmon sashimi! boo.

happy valentine's day

love the little paw! ^^

i see extra lots of gals carrying flowers this v-day. on one hand, i'm glad i don't have to walk around empty-handed. on the other hand, i 心痛 for SSD cos flowers are crazily-priced on this day. moreover mine are blue, which are even more expensive. @_@

we didn't exactly celebrate the day this year; just a simple dinner and then back home. feel like sharing what happened just now at sushi express, but then if a lot of people know, we won't be exclusive anymore. so shhhhhhh~ lol. anyway, we had lots of grilled salmon belly today! the melt-in-the-mouth type. *HAPPY*

i still think they should open another outlet. at sembawang. NAO.
