i think a lot.
was playing emergency 4 last night. luckily i don't have the ambition to become police/doctor/firefighter. otherwise i think i'll burn a lot of buildings and kill a lot of people. rofl. :?
then, i had this crazy thought last night this morning if we were gonna see dandelions in taiwan. and this last verse of a particular song kept playing in my head, so i decided to search for it. (at 5am lol!) and i found it! :P
nice right? it's from 1995's 陽光列車II. (i used to like 陳漢偉 because of his 關懷方式 song. lol.) i remember our class, or a group of us, sang it for a teachers' day celebration in primary school. we sang another song too. :|
i miss those times.

prius online
lol one more gaming entry. *must go around playing all the games to make full use of shit*
prius online is another 3D pvp game that's like, super similar to aikaSEA. (i heard that aikaSEA copied prius. you'll be able to see the similarities.) now, i've begun to hate games with gender-lock (meaning certain classes can only be played by certain gender avatars) but thankfully, prius' archer is female. :)
here's mine at level 19.
i admit she's ugly. but that's beside the point. see that flower on my bow? at first i thought it looked pretty. now i don't really fancy carrying a 寿桃 everywhere i go. but that's....also not really the point.
the point is, i have an anima. familiar much? lols. but the difference is, there's this gauge that increases as you go along, and once it fills up, you can awake her! like this:
much prettier! in this state, she will be able to use skills that she hasn't learnt.
animas also have personalities that you can encourage. i encouraged mine to be active and independent. which means, when i'm in battle, she uses her skills WITHOUT me asking her to. it's really helpful cos i'm training her to be a healer, so i almost never have to worry about my health!
oh ya, you can go into anima-mode, though i haven't figured out what for. at level 30 (or 35), we can get gigas. i think they're like, tanks that we can transform into? they apparently have much more health and perhaps more skills that we can use to fight boss mobs.
gameplay is basically questing. but it's better than aikaSEA because the quests are like, never-ending. (i'm stuck at level 15 on aikaSEA cos i've completed all the quests for my level and i don't want to grind.) on prius, i'm almost level 21 now and whenever i arrive at a new town, i see quests for level 10-15 that i haven't done. so yeah, it keeps me wanting to continue playing.
there's also a private 'home' where you have a bed and storage and other stuff. you get a quest to add a stove, where your anima can cook. (she can learn skills like cooking and harvesting too!) i haven't figured a lot of that out yet. it's definitely more interesting than aikaSEA. and rappelz perhaps? graphics are definitely NOT cuter than mapleSEA though. =\
pretty white tiger. quest boss mob. they have cute mobs like hopping onions and floating penguins. :P
off to tame my first mount. i think they're called peros. it's gonna be a pig. bright pink. :D
EDIT:
i've got my mount! it's a fox-thingy. not a pig. my bad!
and you have to feed it the food that your anima cooks, or it won't have energy to run. like this:
cute right?! but sadly, i've just realized my huntress skill animations aren't as spectacular as the other classes. boo!
... ...
finally done with all the assignment ones. taking a short 'study' break before i work on the 4 assignment twos. =\

welcome, elters!
i know i should be working on the events report but i'm just so hooked up to this new game that i've just started on sat: aikaSEA~!
if you don't already know, i play mapleSEA and rappelz, and aikaSEA is like a combination between these two. it has rappelz' 3D and pvp gameplay but cuter graphics, like mapleSEA! and guess what? aika online is by gpotato (rappelz) and aikaSEA is by asiasoft (mapleSEA). i wish i had starting playing earlier.
there are six classes - warrior, crusader, sniper (rifle), dualgunner, night magician and priest. NO ARCHER! :( so i chose a smexy dualgunner instead.
elters (as players are called) can also have prans, which are little...things that follow you and give you extra help. fire prans are offensive, water prans defensive, and air prans aid in mp/hp regeneration. you can see from the red wisp there that i got myself a fire pran. =)
(this is one of the reasons i started playing this.) once the wisps fairies reach level 5, they can transform into child-prans! here's mine straight after transformation...
...and after some makeover.
she's like a human child so you have to feed and talk to her. but she has passive and active skills that aid in battle, so bo bian!
gameplay is more quest-based instead of grinding, which i prefer. only thing i don't quite like is the travelling here and there to return quests. also, it takes SUPER LONG to level up. i've had like, 10 hours of gameplay, and i'm only at level 14. i could probably go higher in maple or rappelz. boo!
file size is barely 500mb, so you can download and try. it's free! lols. and once i tire of this, i'm trying out rohan! :D

guilty pleasures
last week. in class. after dinner. (shared, thankfully.) boo.
... ...
so. my computer died on me last thursday night. like, finally. it either hanged, BSOD-ed, or just couldn't go past the startup screen no matter how many times i tried. so i popped down sim lim square and with the help of SSD (i'm still mad at you!), hoisted a spanking new CPU back on saturday.
it's horribly big and bulky and ugly and unable to conceal under the table. but apparently it has nice specifications. AND pretty blue LED lights! :D
maplestory (yes i'm back to mapling!) is now pretty much lag-free; can't wait to try out rappelz. but before that, i guess i should be working on my reports.
i'm hungry. =(

complete boredom
i've had less than 5 hours of sleep each night for the past 2 days. it's so torturous!! and so i've taken to blogging in the office to ease the boredom and sleepiness. :(
but to make myself happier (also since i've been horribly moody and sad last week), i shall blog about happy things today! like the dinner 2 days ago...
sushi platter! :D
$30 for 48 pieces of cheapo sushi. kena cheated! but sushi craving from friday alleviated! ^^
then tried to take some night shots from grandma's place (23rd floor!!). sotongball was pretty uncooperative. or was it just me? boo!
and then dinner at town yesterday. SSD was craving for the maggi mee at marina square, but we forgot it was closed for renovation. -__- so we had 家乡面 instead!
food macro! i loves. i think it makes the dish appear more appetizing than it really is. lols. and by the way their curry is really good! to whichever branch that said cannot give extra bowl of curry, BS~! =P
boring! upcoming 'event' is japanese buffet next weekend, and i've got nothing planned for these 2 weeks before that. unless gaming is considered an event. have been doing quite a lot of that recently, ever since SSD got ET17. hmmmm. i wonder who would he save if we both fell into the sea. probably ET17, since i know how to swim and ET17 doesn't. besides, it's more expensive than me. sadded.

what would i do without jap food?!
tried out watami at clarke quay central yesterday for our 9th monthsary. we had the 2 for $49 promotion set, which had 7 dishes and 2 drinks. initially i thought the portion size would be quite small (as are all jap food), but surprisingly it was quite a lot. i think it could easily feed 3 people. and so the both of us ended up super duper stuffed. tsk.
our first appetizer - corn with potato chunks. lovely buttery nice! i likes alot.
second appetizer - fried chicken. don't know about the chicken, but the sauce was pretty tangy and refreshing.
third one - salad. with chicken bits. threw them to SSD and i had the whole dish to myself, since he doesn't like lettuce. seeing how japanese salads taste so much nicer than their western counterparts, i certainly don't mind the extra portion. lol.
SSD's main course - sukiyaki nabe (beef hot pot) with rice. i stole some of the tofu, mushrooms and veggies, but i especially liked the soup. the broth they used was so rich and flavorful and sweet and yummy. too bad it turned so salty in the end that i had to abandon the idea of finishing the whole pot of soup. :P
my main - salmon and rice in heated stone bowl. this one is fairly normal. a little dry and burnt in fact. but i'll eat anything salmon.
we also had 2 side dishes, one being this fried fish. the fishy smell is quite bad at first, so you really gotta squeeze the lemon on top. after that it's quite nice and meaty, and majority of the bones are soft and edible.
last dish - the usual prawn and veggies tempura. looked tempting, but by the time we came round to eating this, the food and its sauce had already turned cold.
finished off with green and ice lemon teas.
hmmm. food quantity and quality is certainly worth the price i feel. they also have other dish options to make up the set. but it's after all a promotion set. to be honest, the rest of the standard ala carte menu items didn't quite interest me. i was craving for cha soba and they didn't even have it! (don't think i missed it, but disclaimer here just in case! lol.)
staff were nice and responsive, though i didn't quite like them kneeling down when they took our orders and stuff. sometimes too much politeness makes me uncomfortable. tsk. atmosphere was the usual dark and orange-gy and romantic. but the tables were abit small and too close for comfort. specially so when the couple at the next table kinda got on my nerves a little. hmmmmm.
i liked the lighting, cos it showed me that the iphone's 5mp camera is really incomparable to satio baby's 12mp. i probably would have fainted if i had gotten the iphone only to realize that, under these conditions, the camera can't even see any words on the menu cover. -_- phew! so unless apple does something about it, or till i can afford both the iphone and a new camera (which i hope i don't have to), i'll just keep reminding myself that the lack of games is gonna be all worth it when i see the nice nice clear clear photos that satio baby gives me.
lalala. drafting in the office + inserting the photos at home = more time for meatshield. *happy*

i can blog about the random-est stuff!
xin wang for dinner yesterday! was feeling abit sick and nauseous ever since the heavy suki sushi lunch, so i ordered a plain fish porridge. which was rather nice. i likes!
and shared a mango dessert.
with mango bits and agar-agar at the sides and a scoop of corn ice cream on top. tasted not too bad. lols and both of us were shivering throughout the dessert. :P
... ...
for the first time this season, i watched the f1 qualifyings on saturday as well. hammie was fastest for q1 and q2, but ended up with p2 for q3. though he managed to snatch the lead after webber's horribly slow start, and stormed home in first place. =D
pretty exciting race, which saw several crashes and running wide. hammie himself ran wide too, and so nearly crashed into the wall. freaked me out lor. thankfully he managed to get back in and continue.
as usual, problematic vettel first crashed into button and then into another backmarker rookie. damn served him right for not getting any points. i hope he keeps it up by crashing more often into the wall (leave hammie alone!). that should teach him a lesson. poor button got booted out though. a pity cos more constructor points would be nice as well.
hmmmm. italian grand prix when i'm in hong kong. hope i manage to find a pub with f1 screening. lol.
... ...
i never should have started on my 2nd rappelz character. now my gaming addiction is back again. XD (this part is ignore-able, since it just serves as a record.) i can't decide which char to play. >_<
sexy huntress with her equally sexy fiery red pixie. both, imho, dish out lovely skills and damage atm.
beauty and the beast: sweet young breeder with her ugly overgrown meatshield.
hmmmm. i usually prefer to play at the frontline, but its kinda nice to play meatshield's 背後的女人 for a change. sighhhh. help? lol.
i want alot more 9 months. =)

looks DO matter
new theme from wordpress! don't really like the chunky header fonts but it's so pinky that i couldn't resist testing it out! lol. which one better? =x
... ...
sighh. sometimes after i've applied my makeup and everything, i'll look at myself in the mirror and think, "you know, you don't really look thaat bad." but more often than not when we go outside, i'll tend to look at all the other pretty girls and wonder if SSD secretly wishes i was as pretty as them. :(
lol such an emo start. it just happened to come into my mind. was actually planning to blog about the 3D game that SSD intro-ed me some time ago. the first 3D game that i actually made it past level 5. and probably my last. hmmmm.
besides the fact that i seriously don't know how to control the revolving camera angles, please compare this...
to this...
kawaii! not hard to see why maple's still my favorite game eh? (archers ftw and boo cool-down time!) i miss those good old mapling times.
i miss school too. especially when work gets so unbearable that my swear words and temper come out before i have a chance to stop them. very bad i know, but i'm so given up on RT; i don't really care anymore. anyone got job lobang? lol.
similarly was super pissed off today. (can see from my string of angry tweets.) so i left promptly at 615pm without finishing up my work. 他做初一我做十五lor.
then dinner with SSD at central and sat by the riverside. he bought me kinder surprise! lols. that was more surprising than the surprise inside.
had previously brought 2 out of 3 kinder surprises to office and stuck them to my computer monitor. can someone tell me what to do with this?
lalalala~ mad sleepy now. and ip man 2 tomorrow. yays.

- was at SSD's place yesterday for dinner. he dabao-ed chilli crab from seafood international. but i think the first time i ate was better. cos not so stressed. =|
- week-long battle at RT started today. first day only and i'm already hopping mad. 4 more days to go. 我忍忍忍!
- torn between (1) finishing the last few parts of westward (2) watching the butt-shaking animals in Madagascar (3) making yet another attempt to start playing a 3d game.
sighhh.

working gets in the way of living
this morning, PL asked to speak to me privately in the room. she told me that the gals, especially 親愛的, were all very worried as i don't seem my usual crazy self recently. super touched that i nearly teared lor.
honestly, i do feel that i'm a little off recently. anything that doesn't go my way would irritate and frustrate me sooo much. maybe i'm just feeling the pressure from trying to live up to everyone's expectations. sb stressed.
but i'll be ok soon. until then, one piece of advice - if you leave me alone, then i can't offend you! XD
... ...
anyway, on a lighter note, remember my previous post about fr3b? never mind if you don't, cos i'll be blogging them again. lol. now, some time ago, i happened to chance upon this survey for COMPLETE by fr3b. since i was bored, i just filled in for fun.
guess what came in my mail just now?
pleasantly surprised. for benefits of fr3b, you can just refer to the previous post. lol. oh and here's my referral link, if you're so kind. :)
... ...
straight after finishing this post, i'm gonna go back to westward iv. it's my latest gaming addiction! super fun. lalala~

baby first steps
you know, when you play games like auditionsea and steps, it's pretty hard to be able to dance in sync with your partner/team due to the different computers, internet service providers or even countries.
so i was pretty glad to come across one of the games where i had almost perfect synchronization with my team. so i'm gonna haolian it.
lol just kidding. i merely wanted an excuse to try out fraps and wmm.
so here we go:
(ps. i'm in the GREEN team)
it took me the whole afternoon so you guys better not comment anything bad on it! =\
... ...
i also recently acquired a video of a full-dress rehearsal of one of the performances in Resorts World. had considered uploading it to youtube but in case anything happens, i'm just gonna take screenies and share them on my blog. i don't think my readers are that mean to report, right??
just this part of the show (and taken by a PHAILED cameraman) is super super cute already. cannot imagine what i would do if i were there. lol.
the way it waddled away was sooooo funny!
notice the third penguin from the left.
KAWAIII NEHHH!!!!! of course screenies aren't as good as the video. hmmm. *goes to watch again*
