april black box!

love the wipes most, cos popo uses them like nobody's business lol. and the belif eye cream. and the anti-aging cream! i don't usually use loreal but i figured i do need to start anti-aging. looking for a serum too; anyone got recommendations? :\

[sponsored review] liese bubble hair color in jewel pink

so far i have tried twice to dye my hair with off the shelf products. the first time was a disaster. the second, at least, had a tiiiiny bit of purple tinge under sunlight. wanted to try liese bubble for the longest time, but they were more expensive as compared to those i tried. so imagine how glad i was when i was sponsored a box of their latest addition - jewel pink!

it was delivered like a mini hamper, with the box of color in a basket (which has ended up becoming popo's toy basket), together with a pink hairband and a fresh pink rose. sweet!

stuff inside was quite standard - the two bottles of mixtures, the foam pump, hand gloves, instruction manual, and conditioner. application was easier too - mix, shake, pump, dump on hair. lol. sat with this for 40 mins.

to be honest i wouldn't say i was very pleased with the results. the first 2 pics were taken under similar conditions, while the 3rd was at the window, where you can see just a slight tinge of copper.

i guess for my stubborn hair, only a trip to the salon could give it a new leash of colour. :(

pretear - the new legend of snow white

i have nothing to blog recently so in order to keep this space alive, i'm gonna share with you my favorite anime series: pretear - the new legend of snow white. this 13-episode series ran in japan in 2001, which makes it 12 years old. and luckily it's only 13 episodes, cos i've watched it at least 5 times so far. i think i've blogged about this before, but i can't find it lol. you can easily search the synopsis from the web, but for lazy people, here's a brief summary. 

himeno was a normal high-school student until she met the 7 leafe knights, who told her that she was the pretear, destined to help the knights fight against the evil princess that was awakening. she can pret with any one of them and gain the powers of that knight, eg wind, sound, fire etc. she fell in love with one of them, and when he dies protecting her, she becomes the legendary white pretear and saves everyone. the end.

LMAO! were you expecting something more? got. eye. candy. 

although they're not real. :( these people really shouldn't draw anime to be so good-looking. or tall. or capable. or dying to protect her. where to find in real life you tell me?!
