i hate getting bored

does anyone else feel that talkshows are pointless? if a problem can be solved just by 'talking' about it, well, it wouldn't be a problem in the first place would it? and on the other end, what's the point of just talking about it if it doesn't solve the problem? lol. i'm probably also the only one around who feels radio deejays talk too much. i just wanna listen to songs! >_<

sighh. TGIF! mad last minute rush this whole week in preparation for the exhibition at MBS in 2 weeks' time. can't make up my mind whether to attend or not, even though i'm supposedly supposed to attend. i'd love to have the experience, but not really looking forward to wearing formal clothes. lol. oh and we hired a pretty model too. i'm actually quite surprised they're willing to spend this money. hmmm. *must get SSD away from MBS no matter what!* =\

went for dinner with parents and aunts at momiji (pomo), under the suki group. dragged SSD along too. (dragged because he sounded and looked so reluctant to come. hais.)

i certainly didn't regret! we attacked the sashimi and salads first.

prawns were super big and fresh! =)

plateful of fried items like ebi tempura, onion rings, sotongs, lotus chips...

cooked soft shell crab. wasn't deep-fried like we normally see it. tasted kinda weird.

dinner promotion - free flow snow crabs! the quality varies; some were tasteless, some sweet, some weird. =P

variety was mainly so-so, but quality wasn't too bad. especially if you're a fan of sashimi! their tuna's not too bad either. otherwise, it's probably on the expensive side for you. it's $32.90++ for weekend dinners. boo!

i'm too tired to think of paragraphs to blog, so it's gonna be photos all the way. photos to tantalize your taste buds, to make you drool the way they're making me now, to make you crave and yearn and think of them. :P

sushi at suki yesterday. man i miss that place. ever since i've moved here, hougang is no longer 'on the way'. in fact, it's pretty much 'out of the way'. no more frequent sushi dinners anymore. T_T

for some reason, i always take photos of the salmon sashimi whenever SSD orders it. lols. extra reason now: practise with sotongball! lols.

then, we had dinner at central today.

soup of the day: cream of mushroom. i love manhattan's mushroom soup. loads of yummy mushroom bits! XD

SSD's mixed seafood pasta. doesn't it look appetizing?!

my baked fish with garlic rice. it came in a weird arrangement so i just snapped whatever i saw. the fish and its sauce was very herb-y and garlic-ky and when ate with the garlic rice, tasted quite nice at first. but then subsequently it became a tad too salty for my liking. think i'll stick to plain ol' fish and chips next time. ^^

went for a walk along the river. and practised some more with sotongball. there's this mode called the 'long shutter', which produces nicer looking photos than the normal night mode. but my hands were way too shaky and all the photos came out blur. nevertheless, the night mode shots look pretty ok today.

mbs lights! there was a ledge to help stabilize so i tried out 'long shutter' mode.

pretty hard to use, but i must say i absolutely love the last photo! proud of sotongball! lols. wished i had remembered to try out froggie too. oh and see that irritating green lump of thing in the foreground of those pics? a piece of paper i noticed after the whole thing. argh!

complete boredom

i've had less than 5 hours of sleep each night for the past 2 days. it's so torturous!! and so i've taken to blogging in the office to ease the boredom and sleepiness. :(

but to make myself happier (also since i've been horribly moody and sad last week), i shall blog about happy things today! like the dinner 2 days ago...

sushi platter! :D

$30 for 48 pieces of cheapo sushi. kena cheated! but sushi craving from friday alleviated! ^^

then tried to take some night shots from grandma's place (23rd floor!!). sotongball was pretty uncooperative. or was it just me? boo!

and then dinner at town yesterday. SSD was craving for the maggi mee at marina square, but we forgot it was closed for renovation. -__- so we had 家乡面 instead!

food macro! i loves. i think it makes the dish appear more appetizing than it really is. lols. and by the way their curry is really good! to whichever branch that said cannot give extra bowl of curry, BS~! =P

boring! upcoming 'event' is japanese buffet next weekend, and i've got nothing planned for these 2 weeks before that. unless gaming is considered an event. have been doing quite a lot of that recently, ever since SSD got ET17. hmmmm. i wonder who would he save if we both fell into the sea. probably ET17, since i know how to swim and ET17 doesn't. besides, it's more expensive than me. sadded.
